The Inception meeting and NeedFinding workshop attracted participants from the following SGCs: Burkina Faso, Ghana, Malawi, Namibia, Uganda, Senegal, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Resource persons came from the following institutions: African Union Commission, New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) Agency, United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), and SARIMA. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have replaced the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) as a new, post-2015 development agenda. NCST as an ICSU National Member would like to draw your attention that ICSU signed a five-year agreement with the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) to work with NASAC and ISSC to support integrated science in Africa.
